Recently beautifully refurbished The Edgemoor prides itself on great service and the best in modern british cuisine. Light and open planned there is a modern feel to the restaurant - with its wooden floors, large windows and a comfy sofas in the bar/lounge area yet the building itself is traditional with its attractively decorated cotswold stone walls.
Their Light Lunch menu at £7.95 includes the popular Edgemoor Ploughmans as well as a range of sandwiches and the mains are available at lunchtime as well as in the evenings. The busy restaurant offers locally sourced meats and fish with mains from £9.50 and a daily specials board offering meat fish and vegetables in season. There are always a fine selection of local real ales from Uley,Wickwar,Bath Ales & Whittingtons.

MORE ABOUT THE EDGEMOOR
The Edgemoor Inn overlooks the beautiful Painswick valley, a few miles north of Stroud on the A4173. The pub has old roots in the community and over the past 20 years, Chris and his family have expanded the building to create a well loved restaurant catering for locals and visitors alike.
The area is well known for its stunning scenery, and the Inn is midway along The Cotswold Way, a 100 mile trail from Chipping Camden in the north to Bath in the South. The view from the Inn across the valley is both dramatic and spectacular.
The Edgemoor Inn has recently undergone a massive extension to the restaurant and total refurbishment of the lounge bar with all new furnishings and wood effect floor giving a light & modern feel to the whole property.
Outside the patio area has also been greatly extended with furniture and umbrellas
to maximise the outdoor experience, either with a snack or meal or just a quiet drink
and to sit and admire the wonderful views over Painswick and the glorious countryside
LOYALTY CARD SCHEME
As a regular customer of The Edgemoor Inn, they would like to offer you the opportunity to join the new loyalty card scheme. Just as many major retailers offer such cards as clubcard, nectar and spend & save, they can now use the same technology to offer our customer a way to build up a points total to be spent here.
For every £1.00 spent, your card will be credited with 5 points.
Example – a £20.00 bill will give you 100 points and a £50.00 bill will give you 250 points.
They suggest that the points total is allowed to build up to a minimum of 100 i.e a discount of £2.00.
Obviously the more points you collect the bigger the discount – a total of 500 points will give a discount of £10.00, but also at this target value of 500 points there will be further rewards each month – For example a free bottle of house wine normally priced at £11.95 – other offers may be on the menu itself or special deals on extra points given.
Once you have completed the application form and been allocated your numbered loyalty card they will keep you informed of the current offers.
